WORLD FASHION CENTRE

The Municipality of Amsterdam asked Cecile to research the possibilities for temporary and permanent cultural housing in the World Fashion Centre.

The objective of the research was to develop a set of scenarios that contributed to creating cultural housing for the World Fashion Centre. The scenarios aimed to represent the needs and cultural profile of the inhabitants of Amsterdam Nieuw-West. 

The assignment has led, through literature reviews and interviews with employees from the municipality of Amsterdam and different cultural parties throughout the city, to a cohesive research paper and a long-term cultural concept.
